This extraordinary prophetic artwork, created in 2003-4 when I was attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, predicted that an airborne virus 100 times more powerful would come from China. THIS ARTWORK anticipated with eerie precision the pandemic that would scar humanity. Like a divine punishment falling on mankind, COVID-19 represents one of the colossal global catastrophes of the new millennium, perpetuated by man for profit and corruption.
